Here's a quick photo update on the past couple shoots I've done :)

Last month I finally had the opportunity to work with Mila Reynaud of Glamorama Studios. As usual I had the amazing and trusty Jeneka Romero on makeup & hair duties,I love working with Jeneka, such a pro! We shot classic pinup and femme fatale style. Here's a peek: I shot with Isaac Suttell in February,I loved working with him and can't wait to do so again! We had a little departure from my usual pinup style, although it is still recognizable in some of the photos..

Planning shoots for April and May now, can't wait to start shooting more and share some amazing photos!! xoxo

it's been a long time since i rock and roll...

I can't believe its been 7 months since I've blogged! What is wrong with me! Well so much has been going on! To keep you going here's some brand new photos from my shoot this past Saturday with Jenna Kraczek. Jenna is beyond great! She is literally a one woman show, she does makeup, hair, all photography and editing! Talk about amazing. Our shoot was heavily influenced by George Hurrell and Alberto Vargas,we had a great time shooting at a studio with Billie Holiday playing the whole time. Hope you all enjoy the photos!

*Peacock fascintaor:made by Jenna K.

*Stole: Jenna's from her vintage collection

*Panties: Silk panties from Victorias Secret

Here's another new photo. Shot last month in October on a cold and rainy day here in Orange County. The photographer Jenny of White Wave Studios(http://www.facebook.com/whitewavestudios) was visiting from Canada and we just had to squeeze in a shoot together. Wardrobe is provided by the extremely talented Jesslabelle(http://www.nbbwear.com/index.html) with Makeup and Hair by Jeneka Romero.

We call this one "A Piece of Heaven"

Lastly I have to mention that I've been working on getting my website sininheels.com up and going, its been difficult to say the least, but keep an eye out for that,it will definitely be up in the new year,if not before :) To stay up to date please "like" my facebook fan page(

You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it..

It's been awhile since I've picked up a magazine and been inspired and enthralled by what I see. If you love timeless fashion as much as I do then you need to check out this months Interview magazine.
While I am more of a vintage girl,I love designers who pay homage to eras gone by,especially ones who do it painfully well. The ads alone are enough retro inspired goodness to make me weak in the knees. From Tom Ford & Dior to the Aldo ads they have a retro edge, just enough to make them modern yet classic.
The 'Evolution' spread is delicious. With beautiful lingerie straight out of a vintage vixens closet. Everything from the Cadolle's bullet inspired bra to Jean Paul Gaultiers satin masterpieces as well as Marc Jacob's frilly bloomer shorts. There is also a lovely Miu Miu spread with some playful pieces that scream silly and yet uber chic. I love this issue that much more for the interview/spread with Lara Stone. I can't describe how happy I am to see a fashion model that looks like a real women. In a world of waif thin models she is a breath of fresh air.She has 'sex bomb' curves, and a face that is unique and hard to forget. Her spread even features one of my favorite latex designers Atsuko Kudo. The latex dress looks amazing ,they even pair it with a collar. The feature has many fetish touches, which makes me that much happier. It all screams saucy dominating women..I could go on and on...
Basically if you get a chance check out the magazine,it has something for everyone, even an interview with artist Linder from her pal Morrissey..le swoon...

Dresses & Accessories I wore at VLV..

A lot of people at Viva were asking about my dresses, here are photos of each day and where the outfit is from, sorry for the icky quality of photos, should have used my camera, not cell phone!

First look:Swing dress is from a fabulous vintage store in Pomona CA called La Bomba Vintage, located along 'Antique Row' on 2nd street, they also have a shop in Long Beach CA at 4th & Cherry Ave. Flowers:Exotic junk
Second look:While I'm not a fan of wearing too much 'modern' clothing( I dislike most of the quality of it) this entire outfit is from Forever 21,save the necklace and veiled hat. Black high waist rayon pencil skirt, belt, top(which features envelope folds),and shoes.
The veiled hat is a lovely find from Antiques Row in Pomona, and the necklace was purchased at the Queen Mary Boutique on the ship.
Third Look:Fabulous red polka dot dress by Collectif UK. Necklace is vintage rhinestone costume jewelry of my Grandmothers.
Fourth look: Another fabulous dress from La Bomba Vintage. The dress is cotton fabric sarong style with vintage Hawaiian print. It also features built in bullet wiring in the bust,a definite must have :)
Flowers:purchased some lovely red silk roses from Michaels craft store.
Necklace:vintage red beaded necklace I found at the local flea market.

Viva Las Vegas Shenanigans...

Well I'm finally home, unpacked and settled in from my trip to Vegas for Viva Las Vegas 13. This year was especially amazing! I had the privilege to work for two amazing companies for the fashion show,Cameo Intimates Lingerie & Nicole Katherine Designs. I think it's easier to post photos and go day by day...

Thursday:
Drove out, checked into the Golden Nugget(which is fabulous btw) the pool there has a huge shark tank and tube slide through it! Had rehearsal for the show and then had a lovely dinner with Elizabeth,Chris Gomez,Whitney,Jorge & Ruby Champagne, all such sweet and amazing people.
Friday:
Fashion show rehearsal, lunch and then the chaotic madness of the show itself. Got to meet fabulous models Angela Ryan,Ludella Hahn,Wink Holiday,Jenna Beth & Gia as well as see some familiar faces :) I loved the energy and surrounding myself with such talented and creative people!
Friday night was all about having fun! Walked around Fremont St.and had amazing deep dish pizza, and then headed to the Orleans. Minus one snafu at the bar(boo on you Orleans for having your bars understaffed on such a busy weekend!) Met up and had dinner with Dee and her friend,I missed my Vegas girlie so much!
Saturday:
Finally made it to the carshow around 3,this was much later than anticipated. I missed the Dita Von Teese signing, but got some nice photos none the less.Got to see some nice rods and beautiful girlies walking around. Spent some time with Sammie,Patty and the rest of the Just Deadly crew. Went up front for the last of the Chop Tops two songs, who were amazing as usual, and then had an amazing time watching the one and only Chuck Berry! For 84 he still was so lively and had a great attitude! He was too cute.
Saturday night I was supposed to go to the Guana Batz show at the Monte Carlo but ended up relaxing and going to the Orleans around 1AM! You've got to love Vegas :)
While hitting traffic on the way home(a 4 hour drive turned into 7!) we stopped at the Alien Jerky place,I am terrified of aliens so this place was fun.

Overall Viva was an amazing time,I met so many new people and reconnected with old ones, thanks to Java,Azul,Jorge(partner in crime),Ruby Champagne,Nicole Katherine, all the models of Cameo Intimates & NKD,Cathy for putting on a fabulous fashion show yet again,Rick Miller,Chris Gomez,Megan,Jim Knell,Athena Marie,Mike from Cameo Intimates,Caren,Elizabeth,Jenny,Tony Misfit and his beautiful girlfriend Alicia,Whitney my new friend from Chicago(wish you lived closer!) and sooo many other people for the fabulous and much needed good time! Sorry if I forgot to mention you,my mind is still dizzy.I can't wait to see you all again and have more fun! Next up is Ink & Iron!!

Let's Get Radical

I've decided to start a blog(obviously) here you can read my rantings, ravings and the general thoughts of a lunatic..
The New Year brings many opportunities to make up for lost time...Things that were not fulfilled last year, goals that weren't met, lost opportunities and such.I've decided that I'm done delaying my goals and ambitions, this year will be a year of change! I hope that everyone else feels the same way, don't sit back and let life pass you by,time is precious, cherish what you have and go for what you want.My first goal is to go back to school,i start on January 30,check...until then I'll be taking care of my sick cat Sparky,he has an infection in his paw, poor creature..
